Welcome to From Behind Closed Doors, Winchester’s first festival for the creative industries.

Join us for a weekend of amazing work from the city’s diverse agencies, alongside rare behind-the-scenes access to their studios.

Expect industrial and product design, graphics, marketing, architecture, video production, fashion and and creative digital services – all in one city, showcasing the breadth and depth of local talent.

Ten of the city’s most respected creative businesses will showcase their work at the WSA West Side Exhibition space adjacent to Winchester Gallery.

Alongside the exhibition, you can see the outputs of the 24hrs Design Challenge, where a mixed team of design students and industry professionals take on a social innovation project in just 24 hours.

The centrepiece of the weekend. Creatives will open the doors of their studios to the public.

Each studio will showcase its working space, giving you the chance to meet the teams and take a behind-the-scenes tour.

Studios will host a mini-exhibition of their work, approach and favourite projects. It’s a rare opportunity to peek behind the curtain of design studios and is not to be missed.

Central to the weekend is facilitating open and direct access for design students to the city’s creative industries.

The team at Rodd will be facilitating a 24hrs Design challenge. This challenge will bring together professionals and designers-in-training from WSA to form a single team tackling a design brief within 24hrs.

The outcome will be exhibited at the Creative Winchester Exhibition.
